Ronda Rousey says she has fractured radius in her elbow

In a post on Instagram, former champion Ronda Rousey confirmed that she has a fractured radius in her elbow, an injury which she suffered last month at a WWE non-televised live event.

“Well, after thousands of dislocations (I thought not tapping out to armbars and tearing ligaments was cool in my teens) my elbow finally fractured simply by slapping the mat in Rockford, Illinois – right before WrestleMania,” Rousey wrote on social media.

The original plan of Rousey teaming with Shayna Baszler to go for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles was altered following her injury and there were rumors that the baddest woman on the planet was still going to be part of the show in the fatal four-way showcase match.

But Rousey said that doctors have not cleared her for in-ring action yet.

“The only thing saving these chicks now are the doctors not letting me compete. Well ladies, they can’t keep me away forever, I’m not moping, vengeance is coming.”
