Ridge Holland’s WWE contract not being renewed

Ridge Holland has announced via a post on social media that his contract is not being renewed when it expires on November 14.

Holland, who is out on the sidelines after suffering an injury during a TNA match against Moose, said that the company is still going to cover his rehab and any costs related to his injury, but his guaranteed pay will end.

“Quite frustrating to say the least as I cannot work for another 6 months due to the aforementioned injury, with a family of 5 to support,” the Brit wrote.

“My career with WWE has been blighted by misfortune but I’m still thankful and grateful for the opportunity and experience. The shining light that has always kept me going is the HUGE support from a handful of special human beings,” he continued.

Holland signed with WWE in 2018, starting in NXT before moving to Smackdown and eventually returning to NXT in 2023. He is a former NXT Tag Team champion with Andre Chase.
