Ridge Holland says he’s embarrassed for his outburst on X, takes responsibility

In an interview on the TMZ Inside the Ring podcast on YouTube, Ridge Holland took responsibility for his early release from WWE, saying his outburst on X was all his own fault.

The Brit’s contract was terminated a week early for breaching his WWE contract after he wrote that he was getting “totally f*cked” by his employer.

“The most recent thing was definitely down to my outburst on Twitter, so I’ve got to take responsibility for that, like I just needed to vent, and I didn’t go about it the right way,” Holland said.

He said that everyone who signs the contract knows what’s in it and he clearly breached the termination clause.

“I let my emotions get the best of me and I just felt that like I had some bad news that day regarding the situation,” he continued, adding that he’s embarrassed about what he did.

“So as much as people want to point the finger at WWE, you know, you probably want to point the other three fingers at myself,” he said. “Really, it was just a lapse in judgment, and it’s something that I’m going to take responsibility for.”

Earlier in the 30-minute interview, Holland wanted to clarify that he holds no ill will towards WWE for the decisions they take.

“I just want to say for the record that, like…I’m never going to go out there and bash WWE. I love my time there,” he said. “I had a great time. Met some great people, and I’m grateful for my time there, the opportunities that they gave me.”
