Ric Flair talks new WWE deal and friendship with Tony Khan

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair said during an interview with WrestlingInc.com that his new WWE contract is not “for life” but said he hoped WWE kept renewing it as long as he’s around.

During the interview, Flair also openly discussed his friendship with AEW President Tony Khan and said that Khan told him that he wouldn’t even ask him to go work for AEW because he knows how tight he is with WWE. “You never know but I’m obviously not gonna go anywhere else if they didn’t renew me,” Flair said.

Flair added that while the two share a big friendship, Khan respects Flair’s loyalty to WWE which he said “speaks volumes to what kind of guy Tony is.”

The Nature Boy signed a new WWE deal last week.
