Ric Flair set for Monday Night Raw appearance tomorrow

PWInsider.com is reporting that two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is scheduled to be on Monday Night Raw tomorrow and while his role wasn’t revealed, it might be to be part of the Mean Gene Okerlund tribute.

Just like Hogan, Flair had some epic backstage and in-ring interviews with Okerlund both in WWE and in WCW including a memorable one at the 1992 Royal Rumble after Flair won the title. And while Hogan had “Let me tell you something, Mean Gene,” the Nature Boy had “Meeeeaaaan Wooooo Gene” most of the time and later “upgraded it” to “Meeeeaaaan Wooooo by God Gene!”

During an appearance on Busted Open Radio yesterday, Flair said that two talked once a month and they were going talking about doing a tour together but health issues “ganged up on him.” Flair said that his wife Wendy talked to Gene two weeks ago and he was laughing and called him one of the most entertaining guys outside the wrestlers in the business.
