PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE has signed former IWGP Heavyweight champion EVIL.
The former member of the Los Ingobernables de Japón faction departed the company in late January after he did not renew his contract.
Real name Takaaki Watanbe, the 39-year-old has worked for New Japan Pro-Wrestling for 15 years and is a former IWGP Heavyweight, IWGP Intercontinental, IWGP Tag Team, NEVER Openweight, and NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team champion.
He is engaged to current WWE Superstar Iyo Sky.
