Raw Women’s title match set for the 2017 Royal Rumble

The Raw Women’s title match for the Royal Rumble was set last night on Raw with current champion Charlotte defending the gold against number one contender Bayley.

Bayley won the right to face Charlotte after she defeated Nia Jax on the show thanks to some interference from fellow Four Horsewomen member Sasha Banks.

The white belt has flip-flopped hands several times over the past several months, with Charlotte and Sasha Banks trading three different wins each since their feud started in July. Ever since it was introduced at WrestleMania 32, the title has seen only two champions, but seven different title reigns in total.
