Raquel Rodriguez becomes #1 contender for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental title

Raquel Rodriguez became the number one contender for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental title last night on Raw.

The former NXT champion defeated Bayley on the show to earn a future shot at the title, currently held by Lyra Valkyria.

Valkyria only had a couple of title defenses so far ever since winning the title in mid-January, with matches against Dakota Kai on the February 24 episode of Raw and against Ivy Nile on the March 3 episode of Raw.

It was not announced when Rodriguez will be getting her title shot.
