R-Truth makes shocking return at MITB and attacks John Cena

Money In The Bank ended with a shocker, and no, it was not a cash-in, but it ended with the return of R-Truth.

As the tag team main event was coming to a close and John Cena clocked Cody Rhodes with the WWE title again, a hooded man entered the ring and speared Cena, followed by a ground and pound.

He then picked up the WWE title from the ring and unmasked himself as R-Truth with the fans inside the Intuit Dome going absolutely bananas. Truth then hit Cena with the championship and got the hell outta dodge, allowing Rhodes to recover, hit the Cross Rhodes, and pin the champion to end a chaotic main event.

Truth, who was released from the company last week, received a ton of support from fans and peers alike, with several “We want Truth” chants during WWE television this week.

Asked about Truth in the post-show press conference, Triple H it was “all part of the show” and refused to divulge more into the situation.
