Portland gets the next NXT Takeover in February 2020

WWE yesterday announced that the next NXT Takeover will take place on Sunday, February 16, 2020 from Portland, Oregon.

Since Takeover started airing on the WWE Network, it’s always been held on a Saturday and this is the first one that will air on a Sunday. The UK Takeover: Blackpool II will also take place on a Sunday on January 12.

There will be no Takeover during the Royal Rumble weekend as WWE looks like it is setting the NXT schedule on its own, not always coinciding with the big four pay-per-views although it’s likely that moving forward, Takeover will still be part of WrestleMania and SummerSlam weekends.

No arena was named as to where the actual show will be held and no ticket information was provided either.
