Pat McAfee accepted Triple H’s challenge to face Adam Cole at NXT Takeover: XXX.

Filming a video on a deck chair while on his honeymoon, McAfee talked about what happened this past Wednesday on NXT when he punted Adam Cole in the head, leaving him out cold to end the show.

Explaining his actions, McAfee said, “I was pushed like 45 times, I was disrespected in my studio…in their studio,” adding that he had to do it because he was assaulted with a bottle.

He said that come Takeover: XXX, Triple H is going to have a big problem with his biggest star as he’s gonna make him famous “for eating another right foot to the mouth.”

McAfee said that two weeks is enough time to find enough anger inside of him, two weeks is enough to find enough motivation to “kick the sh!t out of Adam Cole.”

I kicked @AdamColePro’s head off of his body last night on #WWENXT.

I didn’t want to do it, I HAD to do it. He ASSAULTED me with a bottle.

Then I got physically kicked out of the building by @TripleH.
