NXT’s Rachael Evers was involved in a hit and run accident yesterday after she got hit by a drunk driver in a truck while she was on her way home from training at the WWE Performance Center, she immediately called a trucking accident attorney.
“I’m extremely thankful it was my passengers side that was hit. Some people aren’t so lucky – please DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE,” she wrote on Twitter.
But that was not the end of it as Evers decided to run after the driver and posted his photo and license plate on Twitter. “I love a good cardio challenge,” she wrote along with the two photos.
Evers is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering and former competitor of the Mae Young Classic tournaments.

Evers is yet to make television since becoming a full-time WWE employee. She has, however, been a regular fixture on the house show circuit, competing against the likes of Deonna Purrazzo and Kacy Catanzaro, and teaming with Mia Yim and Io Shirai on occasion.
Let’s hope that Evers isn’t adversely affected by the situation and that the alleged drunk driver is brought to justice.
