NXT Takeover live specials to be monthly shows

With NXT one of the most popular WWE brands, it was only a matter of time before more live specials are added to the schedule.

In the press release issued today, WWE announced that NXT Takeover specials will now be airing monthly rather than quarterly, giving NXT its own pay-per-view feel events every month. No other information was given but it’s likely that all shows will still be taped at Full Sail University, the home of NXT in Winter Park, Florida.

These live two-hour specials will be airing on a Wednesday on the WWE Network.
