NXT rocks the San Jose State University with non-televised live event

NXT did a non-televised live event last night in San Jose in front of a sold out crowd of nearly 5,000 at the San Jose State University as part of the WrestleMania weekend activities. Tickets for this show sold out immediately without any marketing, showing the power of the brand and the huge following the show has.

In the matches, Hideo Itami defeated Tyler Breeze; Jason Jordan defeated Bull Dempsey; Bayley and Alexa Bliss defeated Becky Lynch and Dana Brooke; Solomon Crowe defeated Kalisto; Baron Corbin defeated Rhyno; Murphy and Blake defeated The Vaudevillains and Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy to retain the NXT Tag Team titles; Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte to retain the NXT Women’s title; Finn Balor defeated Adrian Neville in the main event.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens both appeared in the ring and had a segment before the main event started and Triple H addressed the rowdy crowd during intermission, noting that there are a lot of people backstage including Vince McMahon. Hideo Itami also hit the GTS for the first time at a WWE event with the crowd exploding when he hit it.
