The NXT Takeover specials that the recent WWE press release indicated that will be airing monthly has been changed as common sense prevailed and the decision was changed to leave them as quarterly events.

The decision to go monthly raised some eyebrows as the quarterly live specials are super popular with fans and changing it to monthly specials would have somewhat decreased the importance.

The press release circulated online still has monthly specials listed but the WWE.COM story now has “Airs quarterly on Wednesdays.”
