NXT Battleground premium live event announced for May 28

WWE today announced that the next NXT premium live event will be Battleground and it will take place at the Tsongas Center at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, Massachusetts.

The show will be held on Sunday, May 28 during Memorial Day weekend and on the same day as AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view from Las Vegas. While there have been NXT shows which aired on the same day as AEW, usually they air at an earlier time slot so there are no clashes. No start time was announced for Battleground so far.

WWE will be in Saudi Arabia the night before for the King and Queen of the Ring PLE so it will be a hectic and busy weekend for all involved.

Tickets for NXT Battleground go on sale this Saturday at 10AM ET on Ticketmaster.com.
