No WrestleMania for UK or Irish fans as U.S. travel ban extended

If WrestleMania happens somehow, someway, fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland are now banned too from entering the United States after the Trump administration extended the travel ban to include the UK and Ireland following the announcement of a blanket travel ban for European countries in the Schengen Area. The ban comes into effect on Monday.

Thousands of European fans already had to cancel their plans earlier in the week as the ban will run past the WrestleMania date. As things stand, WrestleMania is most likely getting canned by Tampa Bay city officials and WWE would have to reschedule or go to their contingency plan, whatever that might be.

Last year, fans from 68 different countries attended the show, contributing to the $17 million gate and $165 million in economic impact generated in the New York and New Jersey area.
