No more overruns past 11PM for Raw

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com is reporting that Monday Night Raw will no longer have an overrun and will, from next week, finish at 11PM sharp.

Over the last several years, WWE has enjoyed the freedom of ending the show late, sometimes even 20 minutes late on USA Network as the flagship show continued to generate big ratings for the broadcast network.

However, things have changed and that flexibility of going late, which was often due to a variety of reasons such as segments taking longer than expected etc, is no longer. Sapp said that according to his sources, it was a decision made by USA Network to pull the plug on the overrun.

The overrun was a very popular option back during the Monday night war between Raw and Nitro as both companies tried to hold on to viewers longer in a bid to prevent them from changing channels to the competition.
