Naraku and Kendal Gray earn title matches at The Great American Bash

Two new number one contenders for the NXT and NXT Women’s titles were decided on last night’s episode of NXT on The CW.

Former IWGP Heavyweight champion EVIL, now known as Naraku in NXT, defeated Mason Rook and has now booked a title match for The Great American Bash later this month, facing NXT champion Tony D’Angelo.

Kendal Gray also got herself an NXT Women’s title match against champion Lola Vice after she beat Kelani Jordan on yesterday’s show. She gets her match at The Great American Bash as well.

Gray has been one of the MVPs in NXT since moving to the brand and is considered one of the best female wrestlers at the moment.

The Great American Bash takes place on Sunday, June 28 live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
