Mysterio and Rhodes to lead Team Mexico vs Team USA Survivor Series elimination match

Rey Mysterio has proposed a Team Mexico vs Team USA traditional Survivor Series elimination match for the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames premium live event.

“I had a couple of words with Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis, and we are going to put together something very special: A classic five vs. five Survivor Series match at Survivor Series where it will be Team USA vs Team Mexico,” he said.

During the Crown Jewel post-show, former WWE champion Cody Rhodes accepted Mysterio’s challenge, and said Mysterio can lead Team Mexico and he would lead Team USA.

That sounds like something I’d like to do,” Rhodes said. “Rey Mysterio, if you’re listening to me, let’s make it happen at Survivor Series.”

The match is expected to include some stars from AAA, with the promotion having a show the night before at the 713 Music Hall. Tickets for that show remain available at Ticketmaster.com.
