Monday Night Raw TV report for 04/25/2022

Arena: Thomson Boling Arena
City: Knoxville, TN

Raw opens with Riddle in the ring and Superstars surrounding the ring to celebrate Randy Orton’s 20th anniversary.

Randy names some people he wrestled in the past and credits Mick Foley for creating the Legend Killer. Randy continues to say he is having the best time right now because of Riddle and they hug. Randy then thanks the crowd.

Riddle then says he had a surprise for him, someone that looks up to him and thinks of him as a mentor and announces Cody Rhodes.

Cody gets in the ring and hugs Randy as Riddle acts jealous. Then Seth Rollins begins to say isn’t this cute. Seth continues by saying “don’t trust Cody, Randy. Cody is just here to steal your spotlight.”

Seth says Randy’s time is in the past and he is not the current or future and Rollins is who the younger talent will look up to.

Ezekiel comes in to congratulate Randy and says he and Elias used to watch Randy as the Legend Killer. Kevin Owens runs out and calls Ezekiel a liar. As Owens continues his rant, Riddle attempts to calm him down and The Usos music hits.

They say they used to watch Randy when they were 15 years old, and Jimmy asks Jey what his favorite Randy Orton moment was, and it was when they beat them.

Adam Pearce comes out and makes a match for tonight. Seth Rollins will team with Kevin Owens and The Usos VS. Ezekiel, Cody Rhodes and RK-Bro. A brawl begins with Owens hitting Ezekiel and Randy hitting Owens with an RKO as the Usos and Rollins back out of the ring.

As we are going to break Kane is shown talking to Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair VS. Sonya Deville for the Raw Women’s Championship

Action quickly spills out of the ring, with Bianca getting the upper hand and throwing Sonya over the announce table and could not beat the count back in.

Winner: Bianca Belair by Count out

Deville gets the microphone and says the match restarts with no count outs now.

Bianca Belair VS. Sonya Deville for the Raw Women’s Championship * No Count out

Action again spills out to ringside this time Deville hits Belair with a chair and gets disqualified.

Winner by DQ: Bianca Belair

Deville again gets the microphone and says no, no, no she cheated first by using her hair and she just got even by using a chair now wants the match restarted with no count out and no disqualification!

Bianca Belair VS. Sonya Deville for the Raw Women’s Championship *No Count outs, No Disqualification

Match restarts and Carmella and Queen Zelina make their way to ringside. Deville hits a DDT on Belair on a chair but only got a 2 count.

Belair sends Deville head-first into a chair Deville had placed in the corner between the ropes. Zelina gets on the apron but Belair knocks her back down. Carmella gets up on the apron on the other side and Belair gives her a kick back to the ground, walks over and grabs Deville and hits the KOD for the win AGAIN!!

Winner for the third time and still Raw Women’s Champion: Bianca Belair

As we come back from break, Carmella and Zelina are arguing and Sonya Deville walks up and yells at them and says you didn’t do your job and get me the Raw Women’s’ Championship and now you don’t get your shot at the tag team championship. Zelina begins to argue and Deville slaps her hard and Carmella attempts to slap Deville. Deville says “I wouldn’t do that, I am still a WWE official and your boss!” Deville then hits Carmella with a hard slap and walks away.

Edge and Damian Priest are shown, and Edge says they look down on everyone. Priest is going to end his issues with Finn Balor tonight. Edge then says people ask him why he is dressing in suits and Edge says it is simply they are better than everyone else. Priest tells Balor his judgement day has arrived, and they both laugh.

Veer Mahaan VS. Sam Smothers

Mahaan destroys Smothers quickly.

Winner: Veer Mahaan

After the match Mahaan throws Smothers out of the ring and puts him in the cervical clutch on the floor. Then slams him on the announce desk. He then puts Smothers in the Cervical Clutch again.

Bobby Lashley is interviewed backstage, and he says he knows he is stronger than Omos but does not trust Omos or that backstabbing MVP.

During the match, MVP yells and tells Lashley he is nothing without him. The more MVP yells the more Lashley pushes till he finally pushes Omos’ hand to the pad.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

After the match Omos attacks Lashley and picks up the table and slams the table into Lashley several times.

They show what happened at the double commitment ceremony last week.

Reggie & Dana Brooke VS. Akira Tozawa & Tamina * Special Referee R-Truth

Tozawa hit Reggie and pulled him to the corner, Tozawa quickly goes to the top rope and yells over to Tamina “I Love You” and hit Reggie for the win.

Winners: Tamina & Akira Tozawa

After the match Tamina grabbed Brooke and slammed her to the mat. Tozawa goes for the pin, but R-Truth grabs him and throws him into Tamina. Truth then holds the rope open for Brooke to run out but before she can get through the ropes, Truth rolls her up and counts to 2 before Brooke kicked out and ran to the back.

Becky Lynch is out next. She says no one will stop her from getting her championship back and she is interrupted by Asuka as Lynch just looks stunned and drops the microphone.

Asuka says she will stop her because no one is ready for Asuka. Asuka then flicks Becky on her nose and Becky takes a swing and misses, Asuka strikes back but Becky ducks and runs out of the ring.

Finn Balor VS. Damian Priest

Priest overpowers Balor and hits a slam for the win

Winner: Damian Priest

The Miz is out for MizTV. His guest is the new US Champion Theory. As Theory gets in the ring, he and Miz pose for a selfie. Miz was telling Theory no one can come and just demand a match for the United States Championship and they must prove themselves. Music hits and out comes Mustafa Ali.

Miz asks Ali, “you still work here?” Theory says, “Aren’t you the guy that took his ball and went home?” Ali asks why are they here cracking jokes and if he wanted a laugh, He would just watch them wrestle.

Ali then challenges Theory for the United States Championship tonight. Theory says he will think about it and looks at The Miz and says no. The Miz says he just doesn’t have a magic wand to make matches, Theory says, “No problem, I do, I just text Mr. McMahon and you got it… The Miz VS. Mustafa Ali.”

The Miz not looking too happy tells Ali,“When I am done with you, you are going to wish you got those walking papers.”

Good back and forth match with both guys getting a couple two counts. The end came when the Miz went to the top rope and got caught by Ali, but Miz pushes Ali off and Ali lands hard on his knee and falls to the mat. The Miz runs up to put Ali in the figure four but Ali rolled Miz up while their legs were locked and got the pin.

Winner: Mustafa Ali

After the match Ali is attacked by Tommaso Ciampa.

Rhea Ripley is interviewed in the back and says she finally opened her eyes, and she said when she came here, she became the women’s champion, and she is now done with tag teams and she gets attacked by Liv Morgan.

Kevin Owens is talking to the Alpha Academy when Seth Rollins walks up and interrupts and gets shooshed by Chad Gable. Owens and Gable disagree and Owens tells them to just get out of here and Rollins again begins talking and Owens accuses him of not being as good of friend to him as he is to Rollins.

Enter the Usos who said they need to win tonight or it will upset the Tribal Chief and no one wants to be on the Tribal Chief’s bad side.

Rollins puts his arm around Owens as The Usos walk away and says this is our show and Owens takes Rollins arm and removes it and pushes the arm to Rollins and walks away, leaving Rollins alone yelling “Fine I will do it by myself.”

As soon as all competitors are announced and in the ring, a fight ensues between all 8 of them.

RKOs to everyone, Jey Uso gets caught coming off the top rope and Orton hits him with the RKO for the win.

Winners: Cody Rhodes, Ezekiel and R-K Bro
