McMahon family promises change moving forward

Change is coming…or so the McMahons have promised.

Kicking off Monday Night Raw, Vince McMahon quickly introduced his two children Stephanie and Shane and son-in-law Triple H to address the audience.

Taking the mic first, Stephanie admitted that the product is failing and they haven’t been doing a very good job at what they do best.

Triple H added that the four of them would be “taking back” both Raw and Smackdown and will give the fans what they want.

Steph continued saying that they will be empowering their Superstars and fans and giving the audience something fresh and new matches and feuds over the next few weeks. Triple H even went as far to say that the fans are now “the authority.”

The last time an out-of-character announcement like this happened was back in 1997 when Vince McMahon appeared in a video opening Raw saying they don’t want to insult everyone’s intelligence anymore and launching the Attitude Era to battle WCW.

If this announcement leads to real change remains to be seen.
