Mark Andrews stretchered out during final NXT show at Download Festival

Mark Andrews, one of the stars of the WWE UK Championship tournament who is now under a WWE deal, was injured at the last NXT show at the Download Festival today according to an eye witness report.

Andrews was part of an 8-man tag team match, tagging with Roderick Strong, Drew McIntyre, and Aleister Black taking on the Authors of Pain, Pete Dunne, and Bobby Roode. According to Twitter user Alan4L, one member of the Authors of Pain hit Andrews and he went down holding his neck and rolled out to the floor.

“Seems Andrews legit just got hurt. EMTs are out. People seem worried,” he wrote, adding that he was then stretchered out and moved to an ambulance. “Regal seems very concerned. Trent and Brookside the same. Mark’s eyes were open.”

NXT wrapped up its week long tour of the United Kingdom today with the last three shows taking place at the popular Download Festival in Derby.
