Maria Menounos to do ring announcing for the women’s Royal Rumble match

Long-time WWE fan and radio/television personality Maria Menounos will be the special ring announcer for the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match tomorrow night in Philadelphia.

Menounos enjoys a very good relationship with the company and every year she hosts the Hall of Fame red carpet event. She has three WWE matches under her belt, one of which was at WrestleMania XXVIII teaming up with Kelly Kelly to take on Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres. And in 2013, she inducted her friend Bob Backlund into the WWE Hall of Fame in Madison Square Garden. Menounos has done several backstage interview segments at different WrestleManias and other pay-per-views over the past years.

The Daytime Emmy award winner underwent surgery for a brain tumor in June of last year.
