London Mayor Sadiq Khan urges WWE to bring WrestleMania to the city

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has once again urged the powers that be in WWE to bring WrestleMania to London.

Appearing on CNBC during the SXSW London 2025 conference, the mayor addressed WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H directly.

“Triple H, if you’re watching, we want WrestleMania to come to London,” Khan said.

Khan told CNBC that if WrestleMania makes it to London, they won’t have just a great weekend, but they’d have a festival.

“I think the potential has not been reached in terms of WrestleMania. We are the sporting capital, in my view, of the world. And if WrestleMania wants to expand, the obvious place to come is London,” he continued.

Triple H and WWE President Nick Khan already met with the mayor last year to discuss the possibility of bringing Mania overseas, although Triple H stressed that moving such an event across the Atlantic would be a huge undertaking.
