Lio Rush gets slammed by fellow stars for controversial tweet about Emma

Lio Rush, who was recently signed to a WWE developmental deal and is now on NXT, fired a controversial tweet after Emma was released, saying, “I guess these are the things that happen when you’re not TRULY ready for Asuka.”

The tweet did not go down well with people he works with and received some nasty replies to his stupid tweet. Bray Wyatt told him that he’s not going to last with the wolves while fellow NXT star Peyton Royce wrote, “Wow, kid. Didn’t you just get here? Professionalism goes a long way.” Even former star Rosa Mendes ripped him a new one. Others are also responding and let’s just say no one is on his side.

Realizing the world of trouble he’s in, Rush issued a statement, apologizing for his tweet and how it was “blown out of proportion.” He said that as a family man with a 4-year-old, he he would never laugh or mock the fact that someone lost his or her job.

“You’re an amazing performer and respected athlete by yours truly and I’m sure you will excel beyond expectations,” Rush wrote, trying to make some serious damage control. He then apologized to Emma and her fans for the inappropriate tweet and wished her good luck on “behalf of himself and WWE.”
