Less than 50% of tickets sold for two-night WrestleMania 38 so far

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE has sold around 75,000 tickets in total for WrestleMania 38 so far, and that number is for both days.

For WrestleMania 32 a few years ago, WWE sold nearly 81,000 tickets and announced an audience of over 100,000 in the same location and since this is spread over two days, WWE is not even half-way there for each day. Apart from that, large sections on one side of the stadium are not even open for sale yet as thousands of tickets, some even running in the thousands of dollars, are still available for purchase.

Meltzer says that ticket sales is about the same for both nights, suggesting that those attending the first night will also attend the second night.

Selling-out the AT&T Stadium is a big ask for one night, let alone for two consecutive nights. It will take some big names and a huge main event to move an additional 90,000 tickets for the weekend and considering the way WWE programming is going right now, that looks like to be a very, very big mountain to climb.

This year, tickets are being sold by SeatGeek.com and prices are more expensive than previous years.
