Lars Sullivan out for up to nine months with knee injury

It will be a while before we see Lars Sullivan back in the ring as Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that the knee injury he is suffering from is worse than originally thought.

Sullivan is expected to be out between six to nine months and last wrestled on the June 10 episode of Monday Night Raw. On that night, Sullivan defeated the Lucha House Party in a 3-on-1 handicap elimination match and injured his knee during that match.

It’s been a rough two months for the former NXT star as last month, fans were calling for his dismissal due to the old racist and homophobic posts unearthed from the BodyBuilding.com forum he used to be active on. Sullivan was fined by WWE for his words but no other disciplinary actions were taken.
