Ladder match with major stipulation announced for first Smackdown on FOX

Apart from the Kofi Kingston vs Brock Lesnar WWE title match for next week’s 20th anniversary Smackdown premiere on FOX, WWE announced two more big matches which will take place on the broadcast.

The Four Horsewomen will once again be in the ring competing against each other in a rematch from their Raw encounter at Madison Square Garden a couple of weeks ago. It will be Becky Lynch teaming up with Charlotte Flair to take on Sasha Banks and Bayley.

The second bout announced last night is a ladder match pitting Shane McMahon taking on Kevin Owens with the stipulation of both their careers on the line. The match came after Shane McMahon offered two options to settle the “wrongful termination lawsuit” but Owens wasn’t happy.

Instead, Owens challenged McMahon to the ladder match and if Shane wins, Owens would drop the lawsuit and remain fired while if Owens wins, Shane gets fired. Instead of the usual titles or MITB briefcase, it will be the legal documents which will be hanging above the ring.
