Kofi Kingston undergoing ankle surgery tomorrow

Kofi Kingston is currently in Birmingham, Alabama and will be undergoing ankle surgery at the Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center.

After a long post chronicling his bumpy way to a workout, Kingston said that tomorrow “we march forward and into the hands of the best in the world at what he does” to get the ankle right.

Kingston, who suffered the injury earlier this month, missed his opportunity to be in the fatal five-way match on Smackdown last week and instead, Xavier Woods took his place. Originally it was said that no surgery was required but that obviously changed and the five-week recovery time has now increased by a lot more.
