Kevin Patrick joins WWE as new host and commentator

WWE today announced the hiring of Kevin Patrick as the new backstage correspondent for Monday Night Raw, play-by-play commentator for WWE Main Event and as the host of Raw Talk.

The Irish-born Patrick has been involved in sports and entertainment since 2004 and moved to the United States in 2009 where he joined Big Ten Network. In 2012, he joined the Chicago Fire Soccer Club as their television commentator and analyst and in 2015 he moved to Miami to join beIN SPORTS as a studio presenter and match commentator. Patrick moved to Atlanta in 2019 where he does commentary for Atlanta United and he also works for CNN International and Sirius XM.

“I’m beyond thrilled to join WWE,” said Patrick. “I’ve always been blown away by the incredible charisma and athleticism of the WWE Superstars, and I’m excited at the opportunity to help tell their stories.”

With his arrival on Raw Talk, it looks like Charly Caruso’s time there is over although the company has not announced if she will continue in other roles. Kayla Braxton hosted Raw Talk last week with R-Truth, filling in for Caruso.
