Kevin Owens moves to Smackdown

Kevin Owens has been traded back to Friday Night Smackdown, effectively ending his partnership with Sami Zayn.

The introduction of Owens was made by new Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis, who said Owens is back after Monday Night Raw got Jey Uso a few weeks ago.

Dom Mysterio, who interrupted Aldis just a few minutes earlier, ended up receiving a Stunner for his trouble as Kevin Owen’s first act on the show.

There was some belief that it would be Cody Rhodes who would be traded to Smackdown to continue his angle with Roman Reigns but that rumor was shot down by several insiders who said Rhodes was not going to be the one traded.
