Tick tock…tick tock! It’s almost time for destruction to return to NXT as a vignette promoting the return of Karrion Kross aired yesterday during Takeover.

Kross has been out with a separated shoulder since the August 26 episode of NXT on USA Network where he vacated the NXT title just a few days after winning it at Takeover: XXX from Keith Lee.

Unlike Balor, who has also been out for several weeks but retained the title, Kross was forced to surrender the belt as he faced a couple of months out rehabbing his shoulder. Kross has been posting videos of some incredible feats of strength on his social media, showing no signs of setbacks from his injury.

“Think about the future,” Kross wrote on Twitter after the vignette aired.

His real-life girlfriend and in-ring partner-in-crime Scarlett has also been absent from television since his injury.
