WWE Superstars and former champions John Cena and Nikki Bella attended the series finale of American Idol yesterday in Hollywood, California.

John Cena’s new reality TV show on FOX, American Grit, was heavily promoted during the show and it’s name and series premiere date had a permanent place during the two hour Idol broadcast.

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest also interviewed Cena during the broadcast to hype up the show which starts next Thursday.  This is a competition-themed show testing 16 men and women in four-person teams in military-grade and survival-themed challenges with a prize of up to $1 million.
