Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting through his Select service that Joe Hendry can now be called a WWE Superstar after the Scottish star signed a new full-time deal with WWE.
Hendry, 37, reportedly had months left on his TNA deal but somehow they managed to get him over before it was expected.
The former TNA champion has not wrestled for TNA since September and has made more appearances on NXT since then. He is set to appear on NXT Gold Rush in a mixed tag team match, his first match officially as a WWE wrestler.
Hendry had two great opportunities this year with WWE, appearing at the Royal Rumble and then having a match against Randy Orton at WrestleMania, replacing Kevin Owens who was injured.
