In a post on her Facebook, Lauryn McBride who is Jerry “The King” Lawler’s girlfriend, said that the two were involved in a car crash yesterday on their way home.

“A girl ran a red light and hit us totaling the car,” Lauryn wrote. “I think Jerry is superman…not a scratch or anything…he tried to cover me to save me from the airbag before it deployed.”

While Lawler is fine, his girlfriend ended up drawing the short end of the stick, with swelling on her face, and knee problems resulting in her wearing a brace and staying on crutches for a while.
