JBL to do color commentary for AAA Triplemania XXXIII with Corey Graves

Corey Graves’ commentary partner for the AAA Triplemania XXXIII show this Saturday will be none other than Hall of Famer John “Bradshaw” Layfield.

Layfield, a former Smackdown commentator himself, has appeared multiple times on AAA television but never behind the commentary table on their show.

Speaking on the Something To Wrestle podcast, JBL said, “I just got the deal from WWE…not a deal. They asked me to come out and do commentary. Some of you call that a deal or not. It’s an engagement, it’s an appearance, whatever you want to call it but…I’m very excited to go be a part of Triplemania.”

He noted that he’s been going down to Mexico since the early 90s and met Konnan after he main evented the first Triplemania. Bradshaw said it took a “nanosecond” to accept WWE’s invitation to do color commentary for the show.

Graves led the commentary team in June for the Worlds Collide event along with Konnan.

AAA Triplemania XXXIII will stream live on WWE’s YouTube channel in both English and Spanish. The show, from Arena Mexico, is sold out.
