Talking on the Something To Wrestle podcast, WWE Hall of Famer and AAA commentator John “Bradshaw” Layfield said that he will not be going to Chicago for Worlds Collide as the commentary will be done in post-production.
The show, set for tomorrow night in Rosemont, Illinois, will not be airing live anywhere.
“They asked if I would come in. I said, ‘Absolutely, I’d be happy to,’ but they’re not bringing in announcers,” JBL said.
JBL noted that originally, he was asked to fly to Chicago for the show around three weeks ago but then things changed and was told that commentary would be added to the broadcast the week after.
Over 12,000 fans will be in attendance for tomorrow’s show which goes head-to-head with AEW’s All Out pay-per-view in the neighboring Hoffman Estates.
