JBL announces his full-time return to WWE commentary

Former WWE champion John “Bradshaw” Layfield has announced that he is returning to the WWE full-time doing commentary for Smackdown along with Josh Matthews and on pay-per-views with Cole and King.

“Very happy WWE and I have worked out a deal for me to return on a full time basis. There came a need when my friend Jerry Lawler had a heart attack and was not able to work, however, I realized how much I enjoyed being back and this was the basis for my decision to return.”

Apart from doing Smackdown, JBL will fill in for The Miz when The Miz will be wrestling on Main Event.

Bradshaw said that his return does not involve getting in the ring again as he doesn’t want to risk getting injured while doing training for his Seven Summits climbs.

Regarding doing RAW as well, JBL said that the show is “100% Jerry’s” and there are no plans to turn it in a three-man booth.
