Iyo Sky to wrestle Mayu Iwatani at Marigold’s The Dream Destiny event

Japanese promotion Marigold announced that former WWE Women’s World champion Iyo Sky will be wrestling Mayu Iwatani at The Dream Destiny event on Sunday, October 26.

Sky taped a promo which was published on Marigold’s social media, saying that she and Iwatani have not crossed paths over the past few years and they need to tell their story inside a ring.

“Hey Mayu, let’s show the world what an amazing match we will have! See you soon,” she added.

The two were former tag team partners in Stardom and have not wrestled each other since 2018.

The Dream Destiny will take place at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo.
