Indy wrestler El Generico signs with WWE

Popular indy wrestler El Generico has signed a WWE developmental deal and is reporting to Tampa, Florida, in the next few days.

The 28 year old Canadian has built his reputation by appearing in several indy promotions over the past several years including Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Chikara, Ring of Honor, and Dragon Gate.

He wrestled his last indy date earlier this month on the Hart Legacy Wrestling card.

El Generico – real name Rami Sebel – uses the gimmick of a luchador and is billed from Tijuana, Mexico.
