Increase in interest level registered for WrestleMania 38

Interest level in WrestleMania was huge this year, with WWE registering multiple entries on Google Trends for Mania weekend compared to WrestleMania 37 from Tampa last year.

Searches for WrestleMania 38 and WrestleMania 2022 topped 2 million during the weekend while Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, Charlotte Flair, Roman Reigns, and Stone Cold Steve Austin also trended on their own.

WWE’s YouTube account had millions of more views for the WrestleMania videos, with some of them topping 2 million views in the span of a couple of days and the rest hovering in the million views range.

All in all it was a successful weekend business-wise for WWE, with record-breaking attendance and gate money and judging from the thousands of people at the Superstore splashing money, merchandise will also be a record as well.

Paul Heyman on Raw also noted that Peacock registered a 58% increase for WrestleMania compared to last year’s number.
