PWInsider.com is reporting that Ilja Dragunov has departed WWE after his contract expired.
His profile on WWE.COM has already been moved to the Alumni section, marking an end to the Russian’s seven-year stint with the company.
Dragunov joined WWE in 2019 as part of the NXT UK roster and then moved to NXT in the United States in 2022. His main roster debut came in 2024 following WrestleMania XL.
The 32-year-old, considered to be one of the best wrestlers on the planet, is a former NXT champion and NXT UK champion, and NXT champion.
Dragunov last competed on WWE television on the April 17 episode of Smackdown as part of the Andre The Giant Memorial battle royal.
