Gunther out of action with nose injury

Gunther will be out of action for an undetermined amount of time as he needs to undergo nose surgery.

While the injury was known prior to SummerSlam, it played into the storyline as well, with Punk busting up Gunther’s nose during the match.

On Raw it was said that the former WWE World Heavyweight champion suffered a septal hematoma and an orbital blowout fracture. Gunther was not on the show and SummerSlam was his last appearance for a while.
