Guinness World Record acknowledges John Cena’s longest babyface run in WWE

The Guinness World Records website has acknowledged John Cena’s incredible run as a babyface in WWE, making him the longest-running uninterrupted babyface in WWE with over 21 years being the good guy.

That counter stopped on Saturday, March 1 however after the leader of the Cenation turned on Cody Rhodes, and his fans, by aligning himself with The Final Boss in his last year as an active in-ring competitor in WWE, shocking fans from all corners of the globe.

“Whether seen as the heroic figure of the ‘Never Give Up’ mantra or a more complex figure wrestling with his place in the world, Cena’s legacy as the longest-serving WWE face, combined with his ability to turn heel and continue captivating audiences, cements his place as one of the greatest in WWE history,” the GWR website states. “His journey serves as a testament to the power of reinvention, and perhaps more than anything else, the lasting connection he has made with his fans.”

This is not the only Guinness World Record Cena has, as he already holds the record for granting the most wishes for Make-A-Wish Foundation, with 650 wishes granted and counting.
