NXT star Gigi Dolin and Impact Wrestling star Zachary Wentz announced their engagement on social media.
The two went on a Disney cruise for Halloween week and that is where Wentz proposed.
“I have been through a lot of heartache and so has @ZacharyWentz over the years,” Dolin said. “With each other we found peace, a best friend, we found home. And of course, he popped the question on the first night at The Rose.”
Wentz is the former Nash Carter in NXT who was fired last year after winning the NXT Tag Team titles with his partner Wes Lee during WrestleMania weekend. His estranged ex-wife and fellow wrestler Kimber Lee, accused him of domestic violence and later published a photo of him doing the Hitler Nazi salute.
Several wrestlers jumped to Wentz’ defense, including current AEW World champion MJF. Wentz eventually returned to Impact Wrestling in June of this year.
“There’s so much I could say, but the bottom line is my heart is so full, I couldn’t have asked for a better human,” Dolin said of Wentz. “Now it’s time to take on the world because “Adventure is out there!'”
