Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson appeared on last night’s episode of NXT on USA Network, offering to help train Eddy Thorpe for his upcoming Raw Underground fight against Damon Kemp.

Thorpe was watching old footage of Raw Underground and was thinking how he can train for his fight against Damon Kemp on the July 4 episode of NXT when Steveson entered in the frame and offered his services.

“If anyone knows Damon, it’s me,” Steveson said. Kemp is Steveson’s brother in real life. “Let me know if you need something.”

Steveson’s life in WWE has been a complicated one, with the wrestler now thinking of competing in the 2024 Olympics in Paris, which would obviously pause his WWE training in the process.
