PWInsider.com is reporting that Gabe Sapolsky has returned with WWE and is working with the creative team.

Sapolsky, who was hired by Triple H in 2018 as a consultant for NXT was released in January of this year as WWE continued to gut Triple H’s core team down in Orlando. But with Levesque back in charge, many of those who left were brought back.

The 49-year-old co-founded Ring of Honor, EVOLVE, Dragon Gate USA, and worked for other well-known indie promotions as a booker before being scooped up by Triple H to work as a consultant on NXT. He is known for having one of the best minds in the business and was often lauded as a great booker.

He also uploaded a new profile picture on Twitter of him and Triple H standing behind the curtain at an EVOLVE show from several years ago, writing, “Time to play The Game. LFG!!!”
