FOX brings in changes to how Smackdown will air coast-to-coast

TheWrap.com website is reporting that there will be some changes in how Smackdown will be airing throughout the United States once it moves to FOX and it will be different from USA Network.

While the show will air live for the eastern and central time zones at 8PM and 7PM respectively, those on the west coast will get a tape-delayed version starting at 8PM PT. Those who get satellite service on the west coast will also watch it at 8PM PT so it will no longer be “live” for them.

For those in the mountain time zone, they will get the show at 7PM, which would put the show on a one-hour delay but two hours before those living on the west coast get to see it. TheWrap also adds that in regards to mountain time viewers, the feed on their TV will depend on their cable affiliate with some seeing the show at 6PM MT and others at 9PM MT.

FOX will also offer live streaming on FoxSports.com and the FOX Sports App which will have Smackdown at 8PM ET live coast-to-coast, which means that if you’re on the west coast you can watch the show live at 5PM PT but only online. Episodes will be available on-demand on the Fox Sports app for 30 days.
