Former NXT and TNA champion Trick Williams joins the Smackdown roster

Former two-time NXT champion Trick Williams has joined Smackdown as the blue brand gets some additional bodies now that it’s also a three-hour broadcast moving forward.

Williams interrupted the returning Sami Zayn, who said that SmackDown GM Nick Aldis called the “1-800-WHOOP-THAT” number for some extra ammo.

Trick insulted Zayn, saying that unlike him, he gets the job done and Zayn responded that Williams still needs to be humbled.

Williams appeared on last week’s episode of Smackdown, hinting that he would be joining the roster.

It’s a dream real-life scenario for him as his fiancé, Lash Legend, is also part of the Smackdown roster.

Williams has been with WWE since 2021 and is a former NXT champion, NXT North American champion, Iron Survivor Challenge winner, and also a former TNA champion.
